My son is just about to turn a year and we're starting to wean him (over the next few months). I'm nervous because I already noticed the scale creeping up a bit. I wrote about my experience over on the Mom to Mom Blog. Have other moms had issues with their weight while they weaned? Any tips from experienced moms about how to fend off weight gain during the weaning process?

When I stopped breastfeeding my daughter, I remember the weight loss trailing off, but I didn't necessarily gain any weight back. Luckily I was very close to being back to my pre-baby weight at that time.
