My nieces and nephew are staying over in a few weeks and I'm trying to think of ways to keep everyone busy and having fun when they're here. Between my children and them, we'll have 5 kids between the ages of 3 - 11.
I was hoping to find a movie or two to have on hand for the evenings, but I'm struggling to come up with films that will appeal to everyone. I'm thinking maybe a movie like Shrek, but they've all seen that. Anyone have other good recommendations?

I think Pixar movies are always a safe bet for a crowd of all ages. As and adult, I love them too! The Toys Story series, Wall-E, A Bug's Life and Finding Nemo are all awesome.

Sounds like so much fun!!! How about Rio? The older ones are probably just on the edge of being too cool to watch a movie appropriate for the younger ones and wanting to still be kids enough to be okay with whatever you put on. Rio is a good movie that we watched a few months ago with our cousins (kids 2, 5, 7, 11) and everyone loved it. I made homemade popcorn which they all thought was really cool! You could even provide shaker flavors which the older kids will like and that may make any movie seem cool!
